- By decree of Judge John A. MacPhail in Adams County Court on September 30, 1974
- LOCATION:
- Southwest of the Borough of Fairfield in Adams County mainly composed of the subdivided sections of the former Charnita Development.
(Sections not included: AA, AB, AC, AD, AE, AG, BB, O, and Q)
- SIZE:
- 3,488 acres; 5.5 square miles; 21-1/2 miles of boundary; approximately 67.78 miles of roads, and 600 feet above sea level.
- POPULATION:
- Approximately 3,900 year-round residents. There are presently about 1,404 dwellings, with others under new construction, and about
3,500 lot owners.
